What do you carry with you?

I’m a space catalyst (officeandcompany.com), and my day job is web producer.

Anyways, here’s my list:

Man Bag (never leaves my side)

Mac Air (13") + Charger

Sketch Pad

Sharpie & Ballpoint

Earbuds

Sprint Centro (for internet/tethering)

iTouch

Hope this helps!

Everywhere:

iPhone + headphones

wallet (sometimes there’s business cards in there - I tend to be

pen

small pad of paper (usually just scraps stapled together)

chapstick

pile of hair ties (I’ve got a lot of it)

To/from work:

15" macbook + cord

moleskin planner

business cards

shades

various bills/bits of paperwork I think I’ll actually get to if I

carry them around

another pile of hair ties

water bottle

coffee cup

Good luck!

I’m just curious… where are you studying and what is the degree you are seeking?

And, for me I love using a netbook just because I am on the go a lot and it is super easy to throw it in a big purse.
That being said when I have a big project I am loaded down with papers, books, colored markers and a sketchpad at the least for good old-fashioned brainstorming.

I've been running my business out of Tacoma's Co-working site,
(Suite133.com) for 8 month's now. I've always been a big believer in
traveling light and have worked my way down to some bare essentials.
- Macbook Air
- iPhone
- Bose noise canceling headset - for when I need to tune out the
world around me and really focus (or for when I just can't stand what
the stereo in the office is playing)
- A small pouch of cables to connect my laptop and phone to various
devices.
- Pen & a stack of 3x5 cards
- Business cards and fliers since I never know who I'll run into.
- Small umbrella/rain coat (it is the pacific northwest)
- Cash

One collection of items that are as important to me as my laptop is
the software I use. Notational Velocity for all personal note taking.
Evernote for collecting information (it syncs between my laptop,
iPhone and online account), NetNewsWire for organizing all my RSS

my industry as well at various thought leaders and others from whom I
derive inspiration.
