Hi all. My name is Rachel, and I’ve worked at a coworking space in Chicago for a year and a half as a support staff employee and mail assistant. I’ve now been promoted to Community Coordinator. Prior to this job, I was an elementary music teacher and I loved cultivating a warm, welcoming community for my neighborhood. It’s my first time operating a coworking space as a leader. Any words of advice?
I did a little bit of the training from everything co-working, and found it to be very helpful. It’s a monthly subscription ($97) so you could try it for a month and see if it was helpful. I learned a lot in the time that I subscribed.
Hi Rachel, congrats! I hikghly recommend the Creators Lab with Cat Johnson. She does a monthly free workshop (one is today!) but its a fantastic community of other owners operators and managers in coworking. Very vibrant!
