Congratulations to Grind on their deal with Verizon. As analysts looking at the industry from the outside, we think this is a very big deal. Corporations and commercial building owners are trying to figure out what to do with excess space. There’s been a lot of discussion about turning this space into coworking spaces, but the real estate industry moves very slowly. We think a corporation like Verizon jumping will lead more firms to make similar moves.
Steve…you are right about the real estate angle from the Verizon side but there is also a critical marketing angle for them - they get to position the brand closer to the “work lives” of their customers via a disruptive/forward thinking company = powerful. For Grind, this partnership offers rapid expansion with a serious technology partner - the potential is exciting.
