So I was unable to attend the conference this year, and have not attended in the past. Looking to start-up our space Frontal Lobe in the coming weeks! I am just curious what was the overall consensus at GCUC this year? I would really like to attend next year so lets get the excitement started early at least for me. I want to know the good, the bad and the ugly if you will. I hope everyone got home safe and was surprised to not see more posted about it, maybe I am not looking in the right place?!?
GCUC was good with over 300 attendees. DeskMag will put up several updates about the meetings because several of us were busy listening to the panels or partying. We will use the lessons we learned to provide better answers.
I would love to stay updated about Frontal Labs in Howell. I’m somewhat familiar with Howell and from the other side of the state and would am researching the best ways to bring coworking to smaller towns like yours.
Nice, I like the partying or panels comment! One or the other, too funny. Yes, Frontal Lobe is going to be just that. I would be willing to work closely with you to document the progress and hopefully help coworking in small towns on the process. I am also going to be traveling to Denver in a couple of weeks so maybe we can connect. I lived in Colorado for over 10 years and it holds a wonderful place in my heart. We should keep in touch and I am sure one of my best friends has spent some time in your space. Thanks for the GCUC update, if all goes well I will be attending next year for sure.

Great post Leslie! I am one those want-to-be who is still stuck with a day job in my office. Hope that I can come to this exciting event as a space owner by the next round!
