Did a quick search and didn’t find any discussions on this but please share a link if there is already one. We have thrown around the idea of launching a former member package that allows people to still access the community and share their experiences (think mentor network), receive same access to events, discounts on bookings, etc. Wondering if we would make it exclusive to former members or welcome non-members who just want access too. Has anyone tried something like this? If yes, how did you structure it?
We launched a membership like this a little over a year ago - nearly 10% of our members (and growing) are now on our community membership. It’s a mix of people who have full time jobs and aspire to do their own thing, and people who have graduated and want to stay active in the community. It’s helped a ton with retention, as well as showing people that you don’t need to wait until you need a desk to join Indy Hall.
