I don’t know about you guys, but summer is in full swing @Citizen Space, interns are a buzzing, and Coworking Week 2014 is shaping up to be something awesome! We have been busy working on a few things like securing the www.coworkingweek.com domain from the Betahaus guys who so graciously offered it for the community, and creating a kick ass logo we can all use going forward. We are setting up a call using one of the sponsors (Sqwiggle), the instructions for the video call are included in this email below.
We have prepared a series of events which any participating space can use as a template for planning events in your local communities. We realize some spaces do not have dedicated events space, and can not commit to producing events for a whole week, this is just a suggested schedule of events. Feel free to pick and choose what makes sense for your space, or don’t take any of our suggestions. We complied these as a good faith effort because we are also space owners, so we know how busy you are, and would like to make it as easy as possible for you to engage. Here are the resources we have already organized for the community:
Coworking Week Logo (Editable Adobe Illustrator Files to localize)
Event Listed on Coworking Week Site (in progress)
Event Programming Template
Sponsorship Package Templates (Editable Adobe Illustrator Files)
Meet Up Everywhere set up http://www.meetup.com/coworkingweek
Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/coworkweek/
Purchase a Developer Kit Commercial Lock kit from @Lockitron with API access for your Coworking Week Hackathon (not yet publicly released), winners will also get consumer Lockitron as prize Sqwiggle- Sponsoring prizes for the winners of your Coworking Hackathon Hubert’s Lemonade- Provide Drinks to any space in California, shoot us your address here to get on the shipment list Arrow Electronics- $20 gift certificate to attendees of Maker Day events hosted for Coworking Week O’reilly Media- Provide discount code for you members for books and eBooks
