Coworking Europe Conference "Recap" and Takeaways (Part 1)

It was SO great to see many of you last week in Lisbon! Catching up with the European coworking community is always a highlight of my year. And a HUGE thank you to Jean Yves and the team who work tirelessly every year to put these events together.

The only bummer is when people who really want to be there aren’t able to make it. :frowning:

So this year…Adam and I decided to record some of our observations, thoughts, and takeaways WHILE we were at the conference itself and share them as episodes of The Coworking Weekly show!

Rather than just recap of the talks, though we did a little bit of that too, we wanted to share a bit more about the things that are changing year after year, which people who are newer to the community aren’t able to notice as easily. There’s also some things that seem to never change, which we talk about as well.

So I’m confident that these episodes of TCWS will be useful for those of you who attended, too!

The first part of the “Live from Coworking Europe” episode is here on iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/coworking-weekly/id938871054

Or if you want to listen using another podcasting app, you can go here: http://listen.coworkingweekly.com/episodes/5947-session-5-live-from-coworking-europe-part-uno

BTW, your iTunes ratings & reviews really brighten my day. HUUUUUGE thank you’s to everyone who left a review when the show launched!

Hey Alex and Adam,

This was a good episode and it brings up some of th topics some of us have always been missing and loving in the conferences. We want to know where the passion is outside of the stats. We want to know alternatives ways of doing things. We want to know the people that are doing awesome things and not just the awesome things they are doing. We want to know about their plants.

I want to push even more values out there in the coworking world. I want to see how we differ. I want to discuss our intentions and not just our process.

Good episode.

Dear Alex,

Thank you so much for putting these together!

Part two is live now!

I’m feeling really good about this one because it’s a conversation that contains lots of important things that I’ve talked to some of you about individually, but I’ve never seen any larger “public” conversation about. Adam and I get honest…and it gets kind of intense.

Thanks Alex for sharing. That’s always super cool to have you guys coming from a long way to those conferences and sharing your insights. This year we’ll finally make it to GCUC with Copass ! Super excited about that  . Hope to see you again there !
