We’re a small coworking space and are considering switching away from OfficeRnD due to ongoing issues and would love to hear what other operators are using. We have tried Nexudus in the past but also did not like it.
Our space includes:
5 private offices
10 hot desks
5–10 drop-in users per month
Virtual office memberships
Mail and package services
Meeting room rentals
We’re looking for something that is easy to manage, reliable, and doesn’t require a lot of administrative overhead. Features that are important to us include membership management, billing, room bookings, virtual office/mail service tracking, and a member directory if possible.
For those of you running smaller coworking spaces, what software are you using, and what do you like (or dislike) about it? Have any of you switched from OfficeRnD, and if so, what platform did you move to?

Hey! Totally relate to the frustration — we went through the same OfficeRnD → Nexudus cycle and honestly both left us paying per-seat fees that added up fast and dealing with features we didn’t need while the ones we actually needed were clunky.
After trying pretty much everything out there, we just decided to build our own. We run a small coworking rollup across a few locations in Germany and the off-the-shelf tools never quite fit — especially for virtual office/mail tracking and multi-location billing.

We’ve been on the operator side of coworking for years and one thing we learned is that a lot of tools become too heavy for smaller spaces.
From what you described (5 offices, hot desks, occasional drop-ins, virtual office + mail + meeting rooms), I’d ask first whether you actually need a full coworking ERP or if you mainly need something that reduces admin.
OfficeRnD and Nexudus are powerful, but for small operators they can sometimes feel like you’re adapting your business to the software.

QR-based check-in / reception validation (works even without door hardware)

simple operations layer before going full automation
One thing we’re testing right now is letting spaces start without changing infrastructure or installing access control first.
Curious: what are the biggest pain points making you leave OfficeRnD ? billing, onboarding, reporting, member experience, or operational overhead?
We also have a homegrown, or perhaps home-assembled, solution.
We have 5 private offices, two meeting rooms that members and non-members can reserve, mail service, and about 80 coworking members.
We use Acuity for meeting room and event bookings (including day passes and tours). Membership sign-up is via forms on our website (built with Wordpress). We control access to member-only areas of our website using Restrict Content Pro. We use Stripe for payment processing, and feed transactions to Quickbooks Online via Zapier. We track members and a bit of data about them (when joined, why they joined, now they found us) in a spreadsheet.
We periodically consider switching to a coworking platform, but so far have not.
