Hello everyone, I’m Dr. Ron Suarez, a cognitive neuroscientist turned tech entrepreneur and digital equity advocate. Over the past few decades, I’ve helped build platform cooperatives and regenerative community broadband networks that empower underserved communities to own and manage their own digital infrastructure. Our 501(c)(3) is Community Internet.
As part of our ongoing mission, we’re preparing to launch a new coworking space at Alameda Point (ZIP Code 94501), just steps from the ferry to San Francisco. This hub will serve as a collaborative tech and civic innovation space, designed to foster resilience and community stewardship.
I’m also excited to share our new initiative: ALTgov.AI a professional network for those who’ve been defunded or have resigned from federal positions for ethical reasons. Our goal is to connect these individuals into a commons of aligned professionals working on public-interest technology and policy from outside traditional institutions.
